I am a homeschooling wife and mother of 4 from Syracuse, NY. I have always had an interest in healthiness. I had a lot of issues with allergies all my life. My mother was always taking me to an allergist or dermatologist. In my teenage years I used to create stir fry’s and make smoothies for breakfast, before they were even popular. I had a love for health class and was very disappointed when it came to an end. About 14 years ago my interest was peaked even more by the entrance of a nutrition store around the corner from my house. I went inside and the store owner spoke to me in great length recommending things to do to enhance mine and my families nutrition. From there I would say I really became engulfed. Even more as my children experienced numerous issues and not feeling well. It wasn’t until one day at the park with my friends Elizabeth & Amy that I had ever heard of Celiac’s disease. I went home and researched it thoroughly. The closest I could ever get to getting firm proof of my gluten problem was another 5 years later. Before that time, I started researching Celiac’s disease and took steps to expose this illness in not only my life, and my families lives, but my friend’s as well. I went from doctor to doctor being told nothing was wrong with me, going through all the formalities of biopsies and tests until I decided to take the journey into my own hands. Through intense trial and error I found the reasons for my own and my children’s health problems and corrected them through various methods. Upon discovering that my 3 children and I have severe issues with gluten, I have created a lot of recipes and replacements for a lot of the foods we love. I have learned a lot about allergies and intolerances and I want to share that with the community to make them stronger. I am also a certified Reiki Master and I have learned CPR. I like to experience and interact with everything health related. I have a healing crystal collection which I adore. I am always trying to learn more.
